Lenovo Idea Pad S10 offers a few unique features and is stylish in looks. Lenovo S10 with good appearance is simple in origin and the material is made from a plastic that resists fingerprints. The switch has a tasteful finishing touch and the rounded edges give the S10 design a very thin shape and symmetrical design. Compared to other competing 10-inch netbooks, Lenovo S10 appears thinner, though it’s not necessarily lighter. The IdeaPad S10 is designed for cheap, low-powered light mobile computing. The products are designed for educated markets.

Lenovo IdeaPad S10 netbook is equipped with 3G capability and Dolby headphone technology. This netbook offers a 10” diagonal screen on the IdeaPad S10; it’s commonly to be what most consumers are interesting when looking at netbooks. Lenovo has built quality generally perceived as one of the best in the notebook market and Lenovo is being aggressive with their pricing; offering the S10 out to market at $399 with a well-rounded feature, combining tiny technology and portability.

The keyboard size has 85 percent of full size of standard PC keyboard that is more spacious and comfortable than those found on 9-inch netbooks. Most of the keys are positioned correctly, except the right Shift key which is placed to the right of the Up arrow. The battery can sustain up to 3 hours with 3-cell battery and up to 6 hours with 6-cell battery.

According to Lenovo’s official statement: “Lenovo S10 uses the Intel Atom processor that provides basic notebook functionality as a user’s secondary PC. Lenovo offers the IdeaPad S10 in two configurations, with one having 512 MB of memory and an 80 GB hard drive and the other configuration having 1 GB of memory and a 160 GB hard drive. The processing performance and storage makes the IdeaPad S10 ideal for accommodating a variety of data, from a user’s digital music inventory to a student’s homework assignments and more. Lenovo engineered the IdeaPad S10 netbook to reduce the heat emitted on key contact areas such as the bottom of the PC, the palm rest and the keyboard. Additionally, Lenovo’s OneKey Rescue System helps users recover data at the touch of a button should a system error or a virus occurs”.
